Gateway Community & Technical College invites applications for a full-time Painter. This full-time position will paint all interior and exterior surfaces as needed, and perform other custodial duties and general building maintenance. Will work primarily at the Boone campus, but will also travel between our other locations.

Responsible for painting all Gateway Community & Technical College buildings, which includes walls, doors, trim for the interior and exterior surfaces of the campus buildings, and outdoor items such as bollards, fire hydrants, and curbs.
General building maintenance such as minor plumbing, changing lights, patch, and repair walls.
Perform basic custodial duties such as cleaning restrooms, floors, carpets, and classrooms as needed.
As needed, takes the place of other Maintenance and Operations team members in their absence.
Other duties as assigned.
High School/GED or equivalent.
Two years of experience painting interior and exterior buildings.

Associate's degree, or equivalent.
Four years of relevant experience.
Experience in and understanding of the importance of working with students from diverse populations.
