The purpose of this position is to manage a large client account and provide senior technical and operational leadership to the account staff for the development of policies and procedures pertaining to grocery store refrigeration systems managed by CBRE: including managing the performance of grocery store walk in / reach in coolers and freezers, large rack refrigeration systems, the account refrigeration team and maintaining continuity throughout to provide overall quality control for all properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for business unit's financial performance in an account.
Provides recommendations for strategic planning.
Assists in acquisition underwriting and due diligence.
Anticipates and responds to client's needs.
Provide leadership for planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.
Manages the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly performance reports, and variance reports.
Ensures the delivery of accuracy, timely, and complete reports. Performs regular inspections of properties.
Performs regular inspections of properties.
Recommends and directs alterations, maintenance and reconditioning of properties as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. Direct reports will include a large team of HVAC/R Field Managers and HVAC/R Mobile Engineers. Approves subordinates recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Manages appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Prior grocery store refrigeration maintenance, repair and technician management experience preferred. Expert level knowledge of walk in / reach in cooler and freezer maintenance and repair preferred. Expert level knowledge of large rack refrigeration system maintenance and repair preferred.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of eight years of related experience and/or training. Master's degree (MA/MS) preferred. Previous supervisory experience required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Professional designation such as CPM, RPA, or CCIM preferred. Active real estate license may be required. Professional Engineer (PE) license may be desired.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system.
Working knowledge and understanding of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems. Understanding of leases, contracts and related documents.
