This position is part of the Facilities Management Apprenticeship Program. This program is a career pathway where individuals can obtain paid work experience, classroom instruction, and nationally recognized skill credentials in the plumbing trade.

Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the University carrier to operate utility carts and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include completing 8,000 hours of paid on-the-job training and 576 hours of related classroom instruction over the course of the apprenticeship period. This training and instruction will prepare the individual to perform all phases of plumbing and facility maintenance work. Successful applicants must adhere at all policies found in the Facilities Management Apprenticeship program Instruction. This position has been designated as essential personnel for the University and may be required to report to work outside of normal hours in the event of an emergency or any other essential situation and may need to perform other duties as needed or required.
