Projects will include the requirement to revise plans throughout the project to reflect changes in design requirements and to prepare as-built drawings.
AVDEs will need to fully document the design in narrative form and prepare schematics, diagrams, Statements of Work for installers with sufficient detail and clarity to allow proficient and efficient field work, product documentation and custom user manuals as required by the project spec.
AVDEs will work with the in-house Project Manager assigned to each project and be reasonably available for consultation as plans are implemented. This may in some instances include providing engineering support to installation and service technicians in the field. AVDEs will always maintain complete and accurate project documentation and records resulting from these interactions.
Timely provision of deliverables, performance to agreed-upon specs, deadlines and project budgets, punctuality and attention to detail are all very important personal attributes for a Company AVDE.
