Position Summary: The Manager of Engineering Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all activities, Operating Engineers, HVAC Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, Electricians and Engineering Technicians to ensure the assigned facilities are equipped with uninterrupted utility services, emergency power generation, general maintenance of buildings (interior and exterior), preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and mechanical and electrical systems. The Manager provides direct and indirect supervision of staff in assigned area; collaborates with the Manager, Systems Sustainability and Safety and individual Subject Matter Experts to develop short- and long-term plans and to ensure the assigned areas meet all Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements. The manager collaborates with Engineering Service Managers throughout the Multicare Health System, property management partners and others within the Systems facilities group.
Minimum Requirements: 7 years of experience directly in an acute healthcare setting preferred, but overall facility experience may be considered Solid knowledge of infrastructure, systems and equipment 3 years supervisory experience of 10 or more staff members
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelors degree in a related field preferred. A combination of education and experience that is considered equivalent by HP is acceptable.
