The Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Plumbing staff in the Facilities Engineering and Planning department to insure proper operation and maintenance of Plumbing Systems, Building Piping and Lab Air Distribution Systems (within the buildings), including on campus water, gas, sewer, steam and condensate Return Systems; also insures adequate training, direction, and support for all employees under direct supervision. The incumbent also trains, instructs and monitors employees in the diagnosis and correction of malfunctions in plumbing systems and monitors the quality of work being performed.
