Manage the efficiency of the central air conditioning control system (Facilities Control and Monitoring System). Responsible for the installation/ monitoring of central control units. Maintain temperature settings and readings. Ensure optimum system performance and energy conservation.
Essential Duties:
Supervise and assist with the trouble shooting of solid-state boards, the trunk system, and all related optimization and conservation of energy within building facilities. Verify and the scheduling of the FCMS system for the weekend and holiday operations. Supervises and assists with the installation on the FCMS systems to include the installation of all sensors, electrical hardware, electrical conduits and writing. Supervises and assists with the programming of the FCMS system to include the programming of the solid state boards and creating points, design and programming of system graphics and of the preventive maintenance system. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or vocational school certificate with special courses in electricity, plumbing, or air conditioning, or equivalent experience. Three (3) years of HVAC systems experience, including two (2) years of Energy Management System experience. Experience and working knowledge with an energy management system, preferably Siemens Apogee.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in A/ C and electrical tools and equipment common to HVAC's and electrical trades to include volt ohmmeters and oscilloscope, as well as tools and equipment common to EMS systems. Proficiency in all phases of work performed. Ability to use all hand and power tools common the HVAC trade. Knowledge of MS Office.
