Job Summary: Catlin Gabel School is seeking a Facilities Services Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and ensure accountability and timely completion of work orders within the entire facilities department. This role collaborates with the Facilities Manager, Grounds Supervisor, and Transportation Supervisor to provide leadership among the facilities team and to act decisively in matters of campus safety/security and in times of emergency. This position requires the ability to adapt readily to constantly shifting work scenarios within tight timelines and multiple constraints. A blend of administrative and facilities services work, this role collaborates with the Facilities Manager, Grounds Supervisor, and Transportation Coordinator to provide leadership among the facilities team and to act decisively in matters of campus safety/security and in times of emergency. There is ample opportunity to build relationships in our K-12 community, and to lead innovation in work order, purchasing, and inventory systems.
Pay Rate: $24-$28/hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide logistical management and support of services needed for the school’s academic, athletic, and community endeavors
- Interface with the school community to develop understanding and cooperation in scheduling and execution of maintenance and custodial work orders
- Coordinate scheduling of space for school events, rentals, storage, and repairs
- Assist supervisors in coordinating outside contractors to optimize work efficiency and minimize impacts on school community
- Maintain the database program daily to garner accurate work order demand and performance data
- Inventory, distribute, and manage security credentials including alarm code databases, keys, fobs, and access cards, and issue credentials and training to new employees
- Execute systems to support custodial, electrical, and plumbing inventory and purchasing. Manage invoices and records
- Assess and implement office organization and purchasing systems including files, library, drawings, and new equipment entry and tagging·
- Schedule, perform, and document fire drills monthly. Assist with emergency drills and participate in emergency preparedness tasks including document updates and first aid supplies
- At least 3 years’ experience in facilities event and maintenance operations
- High School diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred
