The UWMC NW PLANT ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT has an outstanding opportunity for a FULL TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK), NIGHT SHIFT, MAINTENANCE ENGINEER. The MAINTENANCE ENGINEER performs general maintenance and repair duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Physical Plant.
-Performs routine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting work throughout the hospital.
-Completes work orders in a timely and efficient manner and communicates completion of work order to the requestor and Senior Lead Engineer.
-Performs preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
-Facilitates quality and professional grade repairs.
-Identifies potential maintenance and safety problems and notifies the Facilities Manager of all such hazards and recommends repairs as appropriate.
-Acts as a project coordinator with outside vendors.
-Utilizes safe work habits and maintains work area in an orderly manner.
