Are you interested in teaching a short term class for local employers or community members?
Do you have at least 5 years of experience in leadership skills, general business knowledge, Microsoft Excel and Word, machining, industrial maintenance, lean methodology, six sigma, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, blueprint reading, or safety?
Our Workforce Solutions Division has an ongoing need for instructors in many different fields of study. These positions are part-time, temporary and are based on company/client demand.
Provide instruction and familiarize students within the specific areas of study.
Provide instruction to students in both theory and practice in their respective fields.
Technical positions provide students with the background, knowledge and basic skills needed to function effectively on the job.
Preferred candidates would be able to teach at various levels to help support their programs.
Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic and have an in-depth understanding of the principles in their discipline or field.
Providing, developing and updating curriculum
Completing required course/class paperwork
Coordinating with Workforce Solutions Program Manager throughout the class
Preparing for and conducting classes
Maintain a flexible course schedule.
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience
Technical skill areas require an Associate Degree and/or certifications and licenses in relevant field
Other disciplines require varied experience and certifications based upon the nature of the training.

Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with many individuals at all levels throughout the internal college environment as well as external business and community partners, representing his/her self in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
