The Design and Construction Technologies Management (Construction Management) Adjunct must be able to teach courses that include such content as estimating, scheduling, construction project management, and construction contract law. The successful candidate may also be required to teach classes in construction materials and methods, construction technologies, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, building information modeling, sustainable construction, energy management, and/or building commissioning. The successful candidate will be able to adjust instructional techniques as required by individual student learning styles while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for students and fellow faculty members. Dedicated commitment to construction safety and quality construction standards is necessary. Teaching assignments may include daytime and/or evening hour and face-to-face instruction.
Bachelor's Degree and three years relevant experience in residential/commercial construction field; OR Associate's Degree in a related field and five years relevant experience in residential/commercial construction field; OR High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of ten years relevant experience residential/commercial construction field.
