Plan, organize and supervise facility maintenance and services dealing with building electrical, plumbing, and elevator components and systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree relevant to maintenance, electrical or building systems or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Current Michigan Master Electrician License.
Five years' experience in facility maintenance.
Computer literacy including email usage, MS Excel and Word and computerized maintenance management systems.
Experience with plumbing piping and systems.
Extensive experience in the supervision of bargaining unit employees.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Working knowledge of BMS, Controls, PLC's Square D .
Knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and radial distribution systems.
A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University's insurance carrier.
