The primary purpose of this position is to provide oversight to Planned Facilities Programs (Interior, Exterior, or Hard Services) for all Divisions for the Rite Aid enterprise with a $MM annual budget. The Facilities Program Manager will lead a team of Facilities Specialists, Facilities Administrators, and Facilities Supervisors to ensure execution of Facilities Planned Programs. The Facilities Program Manager will be responsible for supplier relationships and execution at a high level to ensure quality, cost, and speed are accomplished. The Facilities Program Manager is responsible for aligning
execution with Rite Aid Values, Purpose, Mission, Strategic Planning, Ethics, Compliance, Brand, and Safety Guidelines. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Responsible for input and execution of Program budgets for assigned Planned Service Programs. Planned. Service Programs include, but are not limited to, Interior Services of Floor Care, High Dusting, OR Exterior. Services of Landscaping, Snow & Ice Management, Pressure Washing, Window Washing OR Hard Services of HVAC/Refrigeration PM, Vertical Transportation, Fire Life Safety.
- Responsible for program feedback and execution of Planned Programs with Supplier Partners including scope of work, RFP, networking for new supplier base, supplier selection, KPI & SLA expectations.
- Responsible for leadership and development of Facilities Specialists, Facilities Supervisor, and Facilities
- Administrators assigned to planned programs; Including coaching, training, and goal setting according to company plan.
- Responsible for Supplier partnerships including relationship management based on planned services contract negotiations and expectations, including participating in QBRs to evaluate performance.
- Responsible for execution of assigned Facilities Planned Programs for all Divisions to include annual budget input and managing historic spend with adjustments based on capital replacements or closing stores.
- Collaboration with DVPs for high level escalations and RRLs for store level escalations.
- Conduct due diligence for Repair/Replace of assets in planned programs for all Divisions to include collaboration with Capital Program Manager & Contract Team for review of lease length, EBIDTA, etc.
- Collaboration with CMMS (SaaS) partners to ensure efficient execution of Facilities Planned Programs for all Divisions.
- Collaboration with Division Facilities Leaders, IPG, Store Development, Central Retail Operations, Merchandising, Construction, Asset Protection, Finance, Strategic Planning, Risk Management, Real Estate, and Legal departments, as needed.
- Responsible for On-Call Duty rotation and Disaster Preparedness and Recovery event management for all Divisions to ensure business continuity.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, annual reporting to Directors & VP, Facilities Management for all Facilities. Planned Programs for all Divisions for visibility into program execution, budget variance, identify opportunities creating roadblocks for execution, and celebrate wins.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position directly supervises Administrator 2, Facility, Administrator 2, Contract, Specialist 2, Facility, Supervisor, Facilities, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Rite Aid policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field preferred.
• 7 years of experience in Property, facility or construction management required.
• Or equivalent education in lieu of experience
