Must possess an Associate's Degree in an Engineering Technology field; Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred. Must have minimal 2 years of proven operations engineering experience in a safety conscience, high paced, protocol driven, and mechanical intensive infrastructure environment. Knowledge of HVAC systems. Strong oral and written communication skills required to manage the flow of information in support of decision making, and in addition, analytical capabilities to support the NEIDL's safe and efficient operations. Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced environment of competing priorities.
Must be willing to participate in the NEIDL BSL-3 and BSL-4 training programs and other NEIDL specific training and must be willing to travel for professional development
Must successfully complete all background checks / security clearances as deemed necessary by BU or governmental agencies with regulatory oversight of projects.
