Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time senior plumbing engineer. Responsibilities include leading the plumbing design of multiple projects of various sizes; preparing reports and studies; selecting, specifying, and estimating costs of plumbing system equipment; performing calculations as required; conducting periodic construction site inspections; mentoring less experienced engineers. Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position.

The successful candidate must have all of the following: 

• A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering
• At least eight years of relevant plumbing engineering experience
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

• Leading plumbing design of complex projects
• Performing plumbing calculations for system layout and sizing
• Writing project specifications for plumbing systems
• Military projects
• Fire protection design
• Plumbing codes
• Mentoring junior staff members

Salary Range: $113,000 and above – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
