Site Development Planner
Summary of Duties Reporting to and under the direction of the Manager of Development Planning, the Site Development Planner reviews and processes site plan applications, associated drawings, and prepares planning reports, and determines compliance with the relevant by-laws and guidelines; determines compatibility with Corporate Planning documents including the Official Plan and design guidelines; reviews input from other Service Areas and public agencies; addresses deficiencies or conflicting inputs, liaises with applicants, landowners, municipal staff, members of municipal council, and agencies; and prepares approval packages and/or Development Agreements between the Corporation and landowners for execution.
