The successful applicant will be part of a diverse trades working out of our Trades Branch in Ngauranga, Wellington. Our clients include major banks, Government agencies, universities, prisons and, a combination of other leading NZ businesses and commercial premises.

You will be working as part of a team, comprised of Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians and our Building Maintenance crew ensuring our client's facilities are maintained to a high level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Workload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance and minor project work, but also assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance works.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• HVAC trade qualified and registered - Ideally IQP Certified for SS9 or on the pathway to achieving this.
• Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet/iPad (for job dispatch).

Health & Safety is a priority for Cushman & Wakefield and the successful candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the H&S requirements and behaviours in commercial environment. Good personal presentation and customer service skills are also essential, as is a clean full driver's license.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a drug test, complete a Pre-employment Health Questionnaire and MOJ check. A criminal conviction review is also a requirement of the role.
